from Northside High School in Atlanta, Georgia in 1953.

Darwin Aldridge Smith, Jr. died July 14, 1939 of  acute respiratory issues during a family holiday on his grandparents' farm in Goshen, NY
Above middle: this is Little Dar's (as he was known by his family) Junior G-Man Badge, an item that was very popular with boys starting in 1936. Little Dar's badge was saved by his family and placed on the family Christmas tree for many years following his death to honor his memory.
